Meals
Assuming you are not cooking in the cabin, there are several other locations where food is prepared. There are many good restaurants in Lufkin - 30 miles West. There are also restaurants in the town of Huntington located to the South-West. Closer yet, is Morton's Cafe at the blinking light in Etoile.
You can’t stay at Shirley Creek and not try out the delicious meals served in the Shirley Creek Café. Along with the many options on the regular menu, daily specials are offered and word has it that they are mighty tasty. The hours at the café vary, so before heading out in the morning, be sure to check with staff to find out what time the café is closing.
Can we crack a few eggs for you? Or, how about hot biscuits and sausage gravy? We also specialize in delicious pancakes and ham and if you like, chocolate chip pancakes for the kids. Of course we serve meals other than breakfast. Check out the miscellaneous sandwiches we prepare daily. We would love to cook for you! Come in and say hello.
